FAQ

General & Storefront

Where is your retail storefront located?

Our retail storefront is located at 2979 South Archer Avenue, Chicago, IL 60608. Visit us during regular business hours to browse our full collection of Pokémon booster boxes, singles, graded slabs, Japanese imports, and TCG accessories in person!

When are your live breaks on Whatnot?

We run high-energy live breaks and pack openings almost daily on Whatnot! Be sure to follow our Whatnot profile and bookmark upcoming shows so you don’t miss out on any of the ripping action.

New Drops & Releases

How do new set drops and restocks work?

To keep things fair for our entire collecting community, all new set releases, sealed restocks, and special inventory drops are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. We do not offer pre-orders or hold items for anyone.

Be sure to sign up for our newsletter or follow our social channels so you know exactly when new product hits our shelves and online store!

Buying, Selling & Trades

Do you buy Pokémon cards or accept trade-ins?

Yes! We buy raw singles, graded slabs, and sealed products at competitive market rates. We acquire everything from modern releases to vintage classics, with a heavy focus on older, hard-to-find items. You can bring your collection into our Chicago storefront on Archer Ave for an in-person evaluation, or reach out to us online to discuss high-value trade-ins!

Shipping & Local Pickup

Do you offer local pickup?

Yes! During checkout, select ‘Local Pickup’ as your delivery option. Orders are usually processed quickly and will be ready for pickup at our retail storefront on Archer Ave during regular business hours.

What is your return policy?

Due to constant market price fluctuations in the collectible trading card market, all sales of TCG items (including booster packs, sealed boxes, individual cards, mystery products, and graded slabs) are final.

For TCG accessories (such as card binders, toploaders, and sleeves) or non-TCG items, we accept returns on unused, sealed items in original packaging within 14 days of purchase.

Live Breaks & Whatnot

How do live breaks work?

In a live break, we open sealed booster packs, boxes, or cases live on stream (primarily on Whatnot). When you buy a spot, pack, or box, we open it live on air, sleeve up your hits, and ship them directly to your door.

Do I get to keep all the cards from my break?

Yes! By default, all major “hits” (Holo Rares, Ultra Rares, Secret Rares, and graded cards) are sleeved, top-loaded, and shipped securely. For bulk common/uncommon cards, you can choose whether you’d like us to ship them with your order or leave them behind.

Card Grading & Authenticity

Are all your TCG sealed products and cards authentic?

Yes, 100%. Every item sold by us is backed by our RTTR Authenticity Guarantee. We source our inventory strictly through authorized distributors, factory-sealed cases, and vetted trade-ins. Every booster box, pack, slab, and single undergoes a rigorous physical inspection by our expert team before ever hitting our shelves or website, ensuring total peace of mind for your collection.

Do you offer card grading middleman services?

Yes, we offer specialized grading submission services exclusively for high-value cards ($1,000+ estimated graded value) in conjunction with our consignment program. If you have high-end singles or vintage grails, our team will handle the entire process—evaluation, prep, and submission to major grading services (such as PSA, BGS, or CGC)—and then list and manage the sale on your behalf once the graded slab returns.

In-Store Events & Community

Do you host local Pokémon trade nights or tournaments?

While our current retail space is a bit too cozy to run official tournaments, we are starting monthly Trade Nights next month (August 2026)! Stop by to meet local collectors, show off your binder, and make some trades.

Looking ahead, we plan to move into a larger storefront when our current lease ends in 10 months, which will allow us to host full-scale local tournaments and weekly competitive play. Stay tuned!
